Florida Vacation
After spending two days driving, we made it down to Cape San Blas, Florida. We spent the week with friends, watching the kids play on the beach for their first time, swimming in the pool, and relaxing. The beaches were beautiful and NOT a bit crowded. Cape San Blas is known as the "forgotten" coast and that reigns true when you see how few people are there. Of course, the oil could have scared some away but we did not see any effects of the oil. What a wonderful place to enjoy the beach and relax!!

Isn't it beautiful?? We spent a week at St. Joe's Beach in April, right before the oil disaster. There were very few people there also. In fact, we had trouble finding a restaurant to eat! I can see why they call it the "forgotten" coast. Glad you had a good vacation!

Sounds like a great get-away trip. Great when you can find a special place like that.
